The short answer is, yes. You can catch small waves with any paddle board, but if you want to do some carving and ride larger waves you are going to want something more specialized.<\/p>\n
A solid paddle board is going to give better performance than an inflatable but not everyone has the room or a way to transport them.<\/p>\n
This is where inflatable paddle boards are perfect, you can still surf while having the option to throw your board in the trunk of your car when you are done.<\/p>\n
